When playing a prototype, designed for a mobile device, on a mobile device I would like to have a button in the toolbar to toggle a full screen mode.
Hello! Currently you can achieve something similar by using the “add to home screen” option on mobile devices.
We are assuming that you want to hide the browse address bar and toolbar when viewing prototypes. We are looking into other ways to give a near native experience when viewing prototypes. Will keep you posted.
It would be great if there was a more advanced search control that could represent something like amazon.com's search. A filter upfront to the left that I could determine "all, electronics, books, etc" and then allow the user to type right to the right of this and hit search. Right now the only search control we have is more of a simple search. I guess we could try and build one but it would be a little goofy looking.1 vote
Would this be similar to an autocomplete + dropdown. So you populate the list of items, and as the user types the list get’s filtered down to matches

The function of layers in indigo are too weak now, when I created many elements, I can't find the one I want to select in layers easily, and I can't manage them easily. "lock"&"eye" is difficult to use too(cause of their colors of active and inactive).3 votes
We are planning on having a way to search for elements in the elements and layers panel.
Recently we inverted the ordering of elements such it it reflects how elements were added. Most recent on top, as opposed to showing a document outline.
We also improved the icons for lock and hide.
We won’t be supporting multiple elements on the same layer :(
I assumed sharepoint integration was a must given all the other products that integrate with sharepoint that Infragistics offers and the introductory videos mention Sharepoint as a viable repository for Indigo files.
Please integrate Sharepoint to Indigo Studio!!!7 votes
Please elaborate on what kinds of integration you would find useful.
Scrolling is already included in Container box.
Wouldn't it be amazing to have a smart scrolling here ?
Today if you animate the scrolling for a list for example it will works from the start point, would it be possible to make it smart ? So it's animated from the last item selected ?3 votes
Will you be able to share an example of what you mean? Is this some kind of on-load animation for the container? Can you verify after viewing the following example:
If I have a interaction on at minimum one item in a Drop Down I would like the highlighted frame around the drop down, not only on the item.
Because if no items are visible (Drop Box is not expanded) the user don't see that he can click on a item to trigger an action.4 votes
provide inbuilt Grid Generator..1 vote
Are you referring to layout grids for the canvas so as to define gutters and margins?
I'm creating a repository of basic screen elements using screenparts. Eventually I'm intending to make some basic screen navigations, like navigating to different screens for a hub and spoke navigation from the landing screen; and storing it to reuse it in other projects. But even if I make this initial landing screen as screenpart, while reusing the screenpart in another project, I cannot navigate to another screenpart, say, one of the spoke screens. It would really help me prototype faster if I could somehow import a couple of screens flows like screenparts.1 vote
I'm still evaluating Indigo, but it doesn't seem like I can add a hover out interaction. Without having to rely on workarounds, I'd like to be able to change states when a user moves their mouse outside of an element.2 votes
I want to be able to easily import/use custom data from common formats like CSV, Excel, XML, HTML, JSON.44 votes
If this is important to you, please comment with details of what you’d like to see.
I'd like to be able to open an image directly from the Indigo Studio designer inside of Photoshop, make changes, save, and have the image automatically update in Indigo.6 votes
Let me see if I understood it correctly. Currently you can edit and replace an image in the assets folder and automatically update the image inside the prototype. Are asking for a way to select an image inside the Indigo Studio designer and have it open in Photoshop? This is not possible currently.
Help us understand it better.
When drawing custom shapes, it would be helpful to have the ability to copy, paste and reflect the drawn line to ensure it's symmetrical1 vote
We didn’t quite follow this idea. Can you please elaborate? Is there an example we can look at?
Have a new type of screen where you can do Card Sorting to think about screens, functionalities, information architecture and so on.
This screen, ultimately, would be best to have collaboration on it. So other stakeholder will also add their input while i am working on screens and interactions.
It is also another way to engage other stakeholders (and expose Indigo Studio)3 votes
We see card sorting as a very specific activity to define the IA of an app or site. Did you mean something specific about co-desingning UI elements such that more than one person could simultaneously lay out the UI?
It would be nice, if viewport could start to scroll automatically, if you are selecting elements and your mouse reach edges of the screen.
I have to reduce size of the screen now, if I want to select more elements.3 votes
It’s much easier to do this when resizing or dragging an element. Panning while resizing or dragging is possible now.
What you are asking for is auto panning the canvas based on mouse position. That can get really tiresome quickly. We could explore it for multi-select scenarios, where you have a modifier key pressed, but even in that case, the unintended pan effect can be troubling.
Did we understand it correctly?
On mobile screens, the scrollbar that is added to repeaters and content lists that extend beyond the available screen size prevents at true edge-to-edge appearance for some designs because the scrollbar is always visible and opaque. I would like to it to be semi-transparent (especially in the viewer) and overlay the content to not reduce the available content display area. Much like the scrolling on and actually device.1 vote
Offer a quick way to have "floating" icons or texts on lines or repeater (similar to the edit / hide option in facebook). Also this is supported via hover screen interactions, it would be nice to have it as a "quick" option (like the drop down) with no additional states.1 vote
Currently the navigation bar and status bar is not hidden on Android and I have to save it to desktop to get rid of the Chrome toolbar. Plus the framerate is not high when running a online prototype which ruins the animations making it feel laggy. It should be saved locally before running it to improve framerate.1 vote
Have you tried adding the prototype to the home screen as described here:
The mobile 'picker' component is very handy, however it doesn't seem to have the ability to react to a 'done' or 'selected' event when you actually pick something. It would be very useful to be able to react to these events so you can show user flows of what happens when somebody selects one something out of a picker without relying on a separate 'done' button or something simlar.1 vote
We have some plans on adding control specific interactions. I am not clear on what you meant by the mobile “picker” component. Can you share a screenshot?
