Tools such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign work on vectors--would like to be able to import those into Indigo as vector-based images.203 votes
Get your friends to vote on it! :)
I see two basic aspects of this:
1) Just saying "allow users to drag this" on elements/containers/groups, and they can move them around anywhere on screen just by doing that.
2) Define a "drop target" or more that when a draggable element is dropped on it results in a state change that I can define.63 votes
Only default UI component included in Indigo Studio are not cool to design mobile native application GUI.
For a designer of native mobile application, Indigo Studio is not used because too difficult about the product owner understanding when he don't see his prototype with native UI component rendering.167 votes
Display Keyboard control on phone during development so that I know where and how it will appear.3 votes
We can look into showing the keyboard control when viewing the prototype via the desktop browser. When viewing on the phone, selecting an input text field will automatically show the keyboard.
Need Radio buttons for iPhone that are mutually exclusive.3 votes
iOS either uses the segmented toggle button for radio options or has a drill down for making a selection. For the drill down example, create a calendar event, and see the interaction for whether the event should repeat or the interaction for setting up alerts.
Would love to be able to change the line type for lines and shape borders. Specifically, dotted and dashed lines.9 votes
Actually it is very difficult to design dark UI in indigo studio because its UI is really flash white which cause high contrast eye problems.
Could you please add an Indigo Studio Dark Gray UI Skin please?
Since the way Microsoft designed the Windows Phone user experience including but not limited to page transitions used in i.e. panoramas, it is vital for Indigo to include a platform specific pack that adds full support for the Windows Phone user experience.11 votes
I've been seeing these diagrams all over the place now and some look really slick. It appears they're just taking thumbnail representations of what you guys already have in the states/screens and printing them out. Would love to be able to do this to easily show users/co-workers the flow of things in an overview. Would greatly help during discussions. In fact, if you head to this Medium post, you'll even see one built into the blog header which looks really slick. Take a peek when you guys get the chance. :)
The challenge is around auto generating these layouts. However, seems like it’s similar to putting together all the IX explorers for each screen into one single image.
No promises, but we’ll look into it :)
for complex interaction/animation it could be great to have an HTML5/CSS/JS editor (simple tool)9 votes
I'd like to be able to crop an image after putting it into Indigo.
Bonus points if it keeps the whole image so I could make copies and selectively crop to achieve a form of slicing.51 votes
Hi folks, here is a workaround for you. We will take advantage of Retina when we are able, but this should help deal with the blurriness.
As a designer I would like to be able to quickly sketch freehand mockups within Indigo (I am using a touch screen with pen), rather than having to switch to another software package, sketch there, then save and import into Indigo. Someone else already mentioned Copy and Paste from another package which would be an improvement, but even better would be a simple drawing UI.17 votes
Love this idea. We had a prototype of it at one point. Will probably make its way back in at some point if enough people ask for it.
I think it will be more intuitive to adjust animation if i have a timeline play head like in all other major animation tools like AfterEffect of Flash.18 votes
Thanks for the idea.
I would like to change the color of the selected tab or the unselected tabs. I'd like to change the color of the borders for the unselected tabs. I'd like to be able to dictate the shape of the tabs to a few standard styles.7 votes
For certain elements like boxes, text, buttons, etc. I would like to be able to add in drop shadows or inner shadows in order to give a bit more depth to the design.21 votes
Tables in older versions of Indigo (1.09 and earlier) used to do this for free. It allows you to build your table with a default sort order, and then users testing out your prototype can opt to re-sort the data on any column in the table.8 votes
We will continue to improve the grid/table features in future updates. Will update the status when we start chipping away at the grid control.
It'd be nice if you could add a simple state-change trigger to elements that tracks if the user has scrolled up or down11 votes
Is there a way to export the icons as a vector?3 votes
So it will be possible to
- crop images easily,
- add borders
- round edges.
- It will be also nice to convert images to black and white, to better communicate the ideas to clients and insist to see images.2 votes
- Don't see your idea?
